5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Washington Nationals. Bruce tweaked his hamstring on Saturday and hasn't been able to play since then. The team is hopeful it's a minor issue and Bruce can avoid a trip to the injured list. Sean Rodriguez will play left field and bat fifth versus lefty Patrick Corbin on Monday. Rodriguez does have good career numbers off lefty pitchers, but he doesn't have much upside with the bat.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
