6 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Joey Gallo (oblique) was able to hit off a tee on Tuesday. This was the first baseball activities that Gallo has done since landing on the injured list June 2. He's making progress from his left oblique strain, and should be back in the lineup before the end of the month. He's hitting .276/.421/.653 with 17 home runs and 41 RBI this season, so the Rangers could use his bat in the lineup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
