Mike Clevinger To Make Rehab Start Thursday
5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (back) will make a rehab start for Triple-A Columbus on Thursday. The 28-year-old right-hander will likely need multiple rehab outings before he's cleared to return to the rotation. Fantasy owners can't wait to get him back, though, after he didn't allow a run while striking out 22 hitters in his 12 innings (two starts) to begin the year. Clevinger had 13 wins, a 3.02 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 9.3 K/9 in his 32 starts last year, too, proving very valuable in all fantasy formats as a high-end starter.
