Antonio Senzatela Pitches Well Against Toronto
6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela put in another solid performance on Sunday as he shut down the Blue Jays for the series sweep. Senzatela went six innings while only allowing one earned run and four hits. The run and half the hits came in the first inning, when Senzatela worked out of an early jam. Unfortunately, Senzatela still isn't an interesting fantasy contributor, even when he does post a good game. He's striking out just 5.5 batters per nine innings, and he's walking nearly four. Those numbers indicate that he's likely to keep an ERA north of 5.00, and pitching in Coors can result in some very ugly outings. He'll catch a favorable match-up against the Mets in New York later this week, but it's still a risky start.
