Aaron Sanchez Leaves Start Early On Monday
5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) left his start early on Monday with a nail avulsion on his right middle finger. Sanchez had allowed six hits and a run while walking two and striking out one in three innings of work against the Rays before being pulled. Finger issues continue to plague Sanchez, and he has a decent 3.75 ERA and 8.40 K/9 in his 12 starts on the season. It's unclear if this latest finger issue will cause him to miss his next start, so check back for updates on his status. As long as he's making starts for the Jays, Sanchez has appeal in most mixed leagues.
