6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (forearm), who was placed on the injured list on May 11, has started to throw with tennis balls. It's not much in the way of progress, but it's something. He mentioned he was optimistic and that he felt he was "progressing nicely." Glasnow, who had been absolutely lighting it up this season while compiling the best ERA in the American League through eight starts, has no set return date, but at least another four to five weeks looks likely at this point based on initial reports.--Joseph Magazzinich
