Brock Holt To Resume Rehab

After suffering a setback in his rehab assignment last week, Boston Red Sox infielder Brock Holt (eye) is set to renew the assignment this upcoming weekend. The 30-year-old has been sidelined with a scratched cornea and suffered a setback as his new contact lens was ineffective. However, the problem appears to have been resolved. Holt is sorely missed by the Red Sox, as they currently have Dustin Pedroia (knee) and Eduardo Nunez (back) both on the injured list. Holt's rehab, if all goes well, shouldn't be a lengthy one, so he should be expected to return soon. Rookie Michael Chavis could return to the minors once Holt is back.
