Tyler Anderson Returns, Pitches Poorly
6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Tyler Anderson made his first start on Monday after being sidelined with a knee injury, and he was not good. Anderson went three innings while allowing five earned runs on four hits and three walks. He did strike out four, but everything else about the outing was ugly. Anderson is a pitcher that has the potential to turn into a mediocre starter in fantasy, but when things like his home park get tacked on, it becomes a bit of a pipe dream. This is obviously just his first start off the injured list, but no one should be running to buy shares of Anderson for the time being. He should pull a turn against the Braves in Atlanta this weekend, but he shouldn't be started for it.
