6 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson apparently won't negotiate another long-term deal with the team if a contract extension isn't reached by Monday night. This gives the rumor that Wilson would like to play elsewhere some legs. He gave the Seahawks an April 15 deadline for a contract extension, and so far the two sides haven't come to an agreement. It's possible the team could look to trade him or put the franchise tag on him next season. Contract issues aside, Wilson remains firmly in the QB1 discussion after tossing a career-high 35 touchdowns in 2018. He may have trouble matching that this year, though, if Seattle continues to hand the ball off frequently.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
