Travis d'Arnaud Activated On Sunday
6 years agoThe New York Mets activated catcher Travis D'Arnaud (elbow) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday and optioned catcher Tomas Nido to Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding move. d'Arnaud had Tommy John surgery last April 17 and will serve as the primary backup to Wilson Ramos. He went 2-for-7 with a walk and a strikeout for High-A St. Lucie and shouldn't be much of a fantasy option with his limited playing time. d'Arnaud is a career .245 hitter over his six seasons in the majors.
