6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl is out of the team's lineup on Monday against the Braves due to a "slight" core injury, according to manager Bud Black. Black told the media that Dahl is not being placed on the Injured List at this time, so the belief is that Dahl would be able to return to action within a couple of days. Further updates will be needed as he works with the team's trainers from here, but for now, it appears Dahl may have escaped serious injury. Core injuries are a particular concern for fantasy owners though, because they tend to linger and can completely sap a player's power. Owners should be cautious before pursuing Dahl in any trades until his recovery can be seen.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
