Anthony DeSclafani Struggles Against Pirates

Cincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani had a rough outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. DeSclafani allowed six runs over 4 1/3 innings of work while striking out five and scattering seven hits. The veteran right-hander has now made two starts on the season, one good and one bad. Overall, he has a 0-1 record, 6.75 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and 13 strikeouts in 9 1/3 innings of work. While he has potential, DeSclafani needs to be treated as just a streaming option until he shows more consistency. He will not be a recommended fantasy option when he takes the mound against the St. Louis Cardinals next Sunday.
