Scorching Streak Continues for Ryan Donato with New Team
6 years agoMinnesota Wild forward Ryan Donato scored a goal on three shots Saturday night as the Wild defeated the Flames. Donato now has points in all five of the games he has played with Minnesota since being traded from Boston. With seven points in those five games, Donato has wasted no time in acclimating himself to his new team and reminding the league of the potential he showed before signing with Boston. Stationed on the top power-play unit, Donato is thriving with the increased usage that has come with moving to Minnesota. Owned in only 26% of Yahoo! leagues, Donato is a great depth pickup while on this hot streak and makes for a solid DFS option.

Ryan Donato Unavailable On Saturday
1 year agoChicago Blackhawks forward Ryan Donato will miss Saturday's contest against St. Louis due to an illness. Reese Johnson will be replacing him in the lineup. Donato had some early success in Chicago as Connor Bedard's partner on the first line, but he's gone scoreless in 11 of his last 13 appearances. The 27-year-old has struggled to get over 12 minutes of ice time lately and sits on 10 points (four goals, six assists) for the season with 25 games played. Chicago has another game scheduled for Sunday against Washington, meaning Donato could be out for multiple contests.

Ryan Donato Slated To Skate On Top Line Tuesday
1 year agoChicago Blackhawks forward Ryan Donato is set to start the season on the top line Tuesday versus Pittsburgh. The former Seattle man has been practicing with Taylor Hall and Connor Bedard, and it looks like he will make his Blackhawks debut playing alongside two of the team's best players. Donato has proven that he doesn't need to get much action to be a productive player, and he will be perfectly situated to make a significant impact with Hall and Bedard skating next to him. Last season, Donato put up 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 71 games with the Kraken despite averaging only 11:15 of ice time.
