Bradley Zimmer Looking Good In Rehab
6 years agoCleveland Indians manager Terry Francona had good things to say about outfielder Bradley Zimmer's (shoulder) rehab. "I’d be comfortable saying he is kind of knocking it out of the park. He’s really gotten after it. He’s doing really well. He’s coming quick. He has a ways to go, but he’s done a terrific job," Francona said. There's still no timetable for when Zimmer will be ready, but he's making strides and has an opportunity to play a lot given the Tribe's weak outfield. He played in just 34 games last year due to injury but hit .241/.307/.385 with eight homers, 39 RBI and 18 stolen bases in his rookie season. You can ignore him in mixed leagues for now, but Zimmer is worth stashing for his power/speed combination in AL-only leagues.
