Jacob Markstrom Suffers Hard-Luck Loss In Anaheim
Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom (lower body) allowed just one goal on 22 shots in Wednesday's start against the Anaheim Ducks but he suffered the loss in the 1-0 setback. He didn't appear to show any ill effects of the lower-body injury which forced him out of the lineup earlier in the week. Despite the loss he is still an impressive 21-15-6 with a 2.81 goals-against average and .910 save percentage this season, single-handedly keeping the Canucks squarely in the mix for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
