6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie running back Justin Jackson looked the part on Sunday as he was held to just 21 rushing yards on seven carries against the Bengals. Jackson did have a 17-yard reception during one of LA’s early drives, but besides that, he was mostly quiet on the day. Most of Jackson’s opportunities came later in the game when the rest of the offense was failing to make much progress, so perhaps his ineffectiveness was just one piece of the whole problem. Unfortunately, there’s a rumor that Melvin Gordon (knee) may return for Thursday’s game against Kansas City. This is possibly offset by the chance that Austin Ekeler (head) could be sidelined due to a hit to the head that he suffered. Jackson’s value is in limbo for now.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
