6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel scored the game's opening goal in his team's eventual 6-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old's tally extended his personal point streak to five games and he now has registered at least one point in seven of his last eight contests (six goals, four assists). Guentzel has served as the Penguins' Swiss army knife throughout the first three years of his NHL career, proving capable of providing value no matter where he's placed in the lineup. The Nebraska-born forward is currently skating with Sidney Crosby and is showcasing the duo's great chemistry formed throughout the past couple of seasons. With 22 points (12 goals, ten assists), a plus-seven rating, 62 shots and 37 hits on the season, he will remain a must-start option for the time-being.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
