Ben Simmons Continues Offensive Surge
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Ben Simmons continued his strong recent run on offense, scoring 22 points to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists, two blocks, one steal and six turnovers on 9-for-18 shooting. Simmons is now averaging 21.3 points per game over his past three contests, which is a six-point increase compared to his production so far this season. The 22-year-old has been excelling in points leagues due to his triple-double potential but hasn't been great for his category league owners. Simmons' high turnover rate mixed with his poor free throw shooting and average point production has him sitting outside of the top-50 currently. The turnovers aren't going to go away, but an increase in offense would help Simmons to increase his value going forward.
