Elijah McGuire Has Lackluster Season Debut
6 years agoNew York Jets running back Elijah McGuire made his season debut in Week 9, but it didn't go perfectly. McGuire rushed seven times for 30 yards and caught three passes for 37 yards in the loss to the Dolphins. McGuire actually performed better than lead back Isaiah Crowell, but was given less opportunities. Crowell has struggled over the last month, but it doesn't sound like the Jets are considering a change at running back. McGuire will continue to have a limited ceiling as the backup. He could be worth a stash for owners in desperate need of running back help.
