6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen got the first chance from scrimmage on Sunday, and he made it count. With the Chargers backed up on their own 6 yard line and the 12th Man going wild, Allen took a handoff on a jet sweep and sliced his way out for a 24-yard gain. It was the longest run of his career, and it set the tone for what would be a 94-yard touchdown drive on the team's opening possession. Allen would go on to dominate on the outside, catching six passes for 124 yards to give him his biggest day of the season. Allen still couldn't find his way into the end zone, but it was nice to be reminded how critical he is to the offense.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
