LeBron James Has Another Exceptional Performance
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James exuded his usual excellence on Wednesday in a win over the Dallas Mavericks. He scored 29 points, on an efficient 11-for-19 shooting and he hit the game-winning free-throw in the dying seconds. James like he always does, contributed across the board too, with six assists, five rebounds, three steals, and two three-pointers, in a team-high 39 minutes. Father time will catch up to James eventually, but it doesn't look like it’ll be this season. So far with his new team, James is averaging 27.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 2.1 steals-per-game. While the move to the Lakers will lower his assists slightly, as he transitions to a more off-ball role, he’s still the main ball handler and the offense will run through him frequently. James will look to avenge the Lakers opening night loss when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.
