Melvin Ingram Helps LA Win In England
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram was a force on Sunday against the Titans. Not only did he rack up five tackles and a sack, but he also tipped a Marcus Mariota pass in the red zone that was hauled in by linebacker Denzel Perryman. That was Mariota's first ever turnover in the red zone. Ingram would later be called on to lead the team for a defensive stand that would decide the game as he and his crew prevented the Titans from scoring a winning two-point conversion twice. The LA offense has certainly been showered with praise, but their defense is only allowing 23 points per game and a big part of their winning ways.
