Markelle Fultz Struggles Against Celtics
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz picked up right where he left off from last season by struggling against the Celtics on Tuesday night. The sophomore guard got the starting nod at the two spot but only saw 24 minutes, relegating his potential floor time to guards T.J. McConnell and J.J. Redick. Though he seemed to have improved from a shooting perspective in terms of his form, he still has a ways to go as evident by his 2-for-7 performance from the field. The 20-year-old will continue to be a work in progress and don't expect much from him until he demonstrates that he is ready to take on a more significant role in the rotation, something that may not happen for a few months at least. He will look to get back on track when the Sixers host the Bulls on Thursday night.
