Alex Smith Serviceable In Week 6
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith salvaged a relatively unimpressive game against the Panthers with two passing touchdowns. His final line for the day was 21 completions on 36 attempts, for 163 yards and two touchdowns. This marks the third consecutive game in which Smith finished with a completion percentage of 60 or lower after starting the season with back-to-back rates of 70 or higher. Injuries didn't do him any favors in Week 6, as he was without the services of Jamison Crowder and his go-to backfield option in Chris Thompson. Smith always seems to find a way to put forth helpful fantasy numbers, but he looks pretty far removed from his elite 2017 campaign early in this season.
