Philip Rivers Still A Strong Play In Cleveland
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is off to one of the best starts of his career, but he'll be facing a pretty tough defense on Sunday. Rivers is on pace to clear 4,700 yards this season and post an incredible 42/6 TD/INT ratio, so he's been one of the most valuable QBs in the game so far. However, he'll be facing a Browns defense that has allowed the 6th-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this year. This is where Rivers' offensive depth should really pay off. Cleveland's secondary has had some holes, as they've allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, so expect Rivers to take full advantage of his three star wideouts to get things moving anyway.
