Wade Miley Has Short But Successful NLDS Game 3 Outing
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Wade Miley did not last long enough for the win Sunday but got the Brewers off to a strong start versus Colorado. He shut out the Rockies for 4 2/3 innings before giving way to the bullpen. A series of relievers would continue the shutout for the rest of the game in a 6-0 victory. Miley had a solid season for Milwaukee which continued Sunday. Miley is unlikely to be a strong pitcher for the long haul but the fans are enjoying the run for now, with the next destination being the NLCS. The Brewers will await the winner of Los Angeles versus Atlanta. As it is a best-of-seven, Miley could see a start at some point in the series.
