Miles Bridges 2018-2019 Player Outlook
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets small forward Miles Bridges is in a unique situation heading into the 2018-2019 season. Last year at Michigan State, Bridges averaged 17.1 points, seven rebounds, and 2.7 assists per contest. He also shot reasonably well, going 45.7 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from three-point territory. What bodes well for Bridges is that he is a good defender with strength and quickness that will allow him to play multiple positions and contribute. He will be backing up oft-injured forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and will only play at the four when the Hornets go small. Depending on how quickly he develops, he could be the second option for the Hornets offense. Players in redraft leagues probably won't draft Bridges initially but should monitor him to pick him up in free agency possibly.
