Collin Sexton 2018-2019 Player Outlook
6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton goes into the 2018-2019 season in a very unique situation. Sexton was taken with the eighth overall pick in 2018 NBA Draft and has become the default centerpiece of the Kyrie Irving trade with Boston. Sexton played well last season at Alabama averaging 19.2 points and 3.8 assists per game. In college, Sexton was a score-first point guard, but for the Cavaliers, he will have to display that he can also distribute the ball to get more playing time, with power forward Kevin Love being the primary offensive option. Sexton's current average draft position is 133 in most redraft leagues, but with his current spot on the team, that rank may be high.
