Aaron Rodgers Remains Day-To-Day
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) is getting better but nothing has changed and Rodgers remains day-to-day. The Packers are not practicing on Friday, so Saturday's practice will be a big indicator for Rodgers' status in Week 2 against the Vikings. The feeling is still that it'd be a surprise if Rodgers didn't suit up, but it's still possible depending on how he feels when he tries to get some work in on Saturday. You'll need a backup plan in place just in case Rodgers doesn't go. Even in a tough matchup, if Rodgers is playing (even at less than 100 percent), he should be in your fantasy lineups. If Rodgers is inactive, it'll be a severe downgrade to the entire offense, mainly the receivers.
