David Price Leaves Start After Being Hit By Liner
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter David Price left Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins in the third inning after he was struck by a comebacker off of the bat of Austin Dean. Price had allowed three runs on five hits before his exit. The 33-year-old was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion, which does not seem very serious, but more information should come out after the game. It is unfortunate for fantasy owners as Price has been dominant in his past few starts. He held a 4-0 record with a 1.62 ERA in his last seven games before today's outing.
