Aaron Nola's Quality Start Goes To Waste
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies ace and NL Cy Young candidate Aaron Nola recorded a quality start against the Washington Nationals Tuesday night, leaving his club with the lead. The 25-year-old fired six shutout innings to kick off, before surrendering two in his final inning of work. The quality start was Nola's sixth in a row including one in each of his five starts of the month. Ultimately, however, his bullpen failed to preserve the lead and Nola wound up with nothing to show for his start.
