6 years agoLos Angeles Angels phenom Shohei Ohtani (elbow) had a 50-pitch simulation game on Monday that manager Mike Scioscia said went well. He will throw a bullpen in a couple of days, and following that more will be known about his status going forward. Scioscia did say that Ohtani will be kept on the every sixth game rotation if he returns, but the fact that he is discussing it lends some credence to the idea that he could return this year. If Ohtani the pitcher is available in your league, he's a solid stash.--patton
