6 years agoRecently recalled Colorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl is set to start on Monday, and he'll bat leadoff for the team. It will be just the sixth time in his major league career that Dahl has led off a game, and four of the previous five times happened in a single four-day span two years ago. This will also be Dahl's first start with the big league club since returning from a fractured foot that he suffered earlier in the season. To add to the difficulty level, Dahl will be patrolling center field for just the seventh time in his career as well. Dahl is a pretty good prospect, but he remains buried in the outfield rotation for now and has a ridiculously long injury history.
