Bryson DeChambeau Shares Lead at Porsche European Open
6 years agoBryson DeChambeau will enter the final round at the Porsche European Open trying to go wire-to-wire in Germany. The American held the outright lead on Thursday and Friday, but after Saturday's solid but catchable two-under 70, Richard McEvoy has joined him at the top of the leaderboard at 12-under par. McEvoy has had three Challenge Tour wins in his career but is looking for his first European Tour title in 284 career events. Despite McEvoy being the closest competitor to DeChambeau, he isn't necessarily his most threatening contender. Patrick Reed sits in a share of third place at 11-under par, and Paul Casey is in fifth place at nine-under par. Golf's mad scientist will need to concoct a winning formula on Sunday if he wants to walk away with his second worldwide title of the season.
