Tucker Barnhart Moves Up in Batting Order
6 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is behind the plate and batting second against righty Jameson Taillon and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday. Barnhart is hitting .227/.302/.332 off right-handed pitching this season, which doesn't scream two-hole hitter. Barnhart is normally in the sixth or seventh spot in the batting order, but gets a rare chance to bat higher on Friday. He's a sleeper option in DFS, but his struggles against right-handed pitching should make him fairly unowned in most DFS contests.
