6 years agoColorado Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta was expected to get less plate appearances when Tom Murphy arrived, but Iannetta's basically become a professional pinch hitter. After getting two chances to bat on Thursday, Iannetta now has seven plate appearances in the last seven days, and he's only started one game. With the team carrying three catchers, it was likely someone would be the odd man out, and third catcher Tony Wolters is the best of the three defensively.
