Aaron Judge Sits, Brett Gardner Returns To Yankees Lineup

The New York Yankees will seek a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday and have made a few changes to their starting lineup. Brett Gardner, who was off on Tuesday, will return to left field and bat leadoff. That will push Aaron Hicks to right field, giving Aaron Judge the night off. Judge, 26, currently has a starting All-Star spot in the outfield and leads the Yankees in home runs with 20, while also posting 52 RBI, four stolen bases, and a .277 batting average. Giancarlo Stanton, who will start in left field, will move up and take Judge’s spot in the lineup by batting second.
