7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Steven Souza Jr. (pectoral) has been cleared to participate in rehab games as a designated hitter. Souza has not been cleared to resume throwing yet, so he still has a ways to go before being activated from the disabled list. Hopefully the extended hitting repetitions can help Souza get into a groove at the plate and improve his .163/.284/.186 slash line. Souza will likely be activated from the disabled list in mid-to-late July, but his spot in the lineup is in question thanks to the excellent play of Jon Jay.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
