6 years agoWith the 39th pick in the NHL draft, the New York Rangers selected 17-year-old goalie Olof Lindblom. The Swedish native was named to the All-Star team and was the best goalie at U18s in Russia. At the World Junior Classic, he posted a 1.66 goals-against average and a .949 save percentage across six games. While he won't be on the Rangers roster immediately, he's an impressive draft pick to keep an eye on for future seasons.--Anthony Vattimo
