6 years agoThe Montreal Canadiens selected Jesperi Kotkaniemi with the third overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft. Montreal addresses their lack of depth up the middle by drafting Kotkaniemi, who was the highest rated center in the draft. Praised for his high hockey IQ and dangerous shot, Montreal is hoping he becomes the elite goal scorer that they sorely need. The 6-foot-2 pivot from Finland has the size to play in the NHL already and with little organizational depth at center, expect Kotkaniemi to push for a spot in Montreal's top six this upcoming season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
