7 years agoNew York Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold could open the year as the third starter behind Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater. The Jets could opt to sit Darnold on the sidelines until he is ready to play. It all depends on whether the Jets keep Bridgewater around, and as of now it looks like they will. Darnold has plenty of upside as a long-term starter in the league, but he shouldn't be used with a redraft pick in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
