7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte continued his hot streak on Monday, going 1-for-4 with an RBI double in the Diamondbacks loss to the Giants. Marte now has eight RBI and eight extra-base hits in his last seven games. His contribution with the bat helped the Diamondbacks win five of six games over the weekend and should ensure that he stays in the lineup moving forward. Marte doesn't contribute enough power or speed to be considered in shallow leagues, but deep league owners looking for a short-term pickup should take a flier.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
