Fernando Romero Takes Tough-Luck Loss
7 years agoMinnesota Twins rookie right-hander Fernando Romero allowed just two runs over seven innings in his Friday start against the Seattle Mariners, but he was hung with his first career loss. Romero allowed just five hits while striking out seven in the game, but his offense only scored one run behind him. Romero has been impressive over his first five MLB starts, posting a 2-1 record, 1.88 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 28 2/3 innings. He has turned into a solid fantasy option going forward.
