Brandon Crawford Stays Red-Hot Tuesday
7 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford continued his extended hot streak on Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run in a loss to the Astros. Crawford has been on a tear as of late, batting .489 with an OPS of 1.276 over the last two weeks and has lifted his average on the year up to .309. It wasn't very long ago that Crawford was a must-start shortstop and he is knocking at that door once again. His 42 percent ownership is criminally low for how well he's been hitting. While he is this hot, he is a must-start in all formats, especially as a fill-in for middle infield spots with Dee Gordon and Paul DeJong recently hitting the disabled list.
