Alex Ovechkin Snakebitten In Game 4
7 years agoWashington Capitals winger Alex Ovechkin could not find the back of the net in Thursday’s home loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He logged three shots on goal in the contest, a number most assuredly diminished by Tampa Bay’s 16 blocked shots. It appeared that the Bolts had been taking notes on his delivery, and were able to block more of his offerings. Ovechkin did find his way onto the scoresheet, setting up Evgeny Kuznetsov for his tying goal and the only goal of the second period. The assist was Ovechkin’s 10th of the postseason and his 11th point while 5-on-5. He’s proving he can produce in all situations, something his team certainly needs if they are to continue to advance this postseason. Ovechkin has five points through four games this series and should be started in all DFS formats.
