7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Steven Souza made his first regular season start following a month-long absence on Thursday, going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the loss to the Dodgers. It wasn't the best debut for the outfielder, but it was a good sign that manager Torey Lovullo showed confidence in Souza, slotting him fifth in the lineup behind Paul Goldschmidt and A.J. Pollock. Souza's batting average will likely be below average, but his combination of above-average power and speed will provide plenty of value for owners.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
