Alex Gordon Claims To Have Made Many Adjustments
7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon claims he's made an assortment of adjustments to his swing and approach at the plate during the offseason and spring session. That's a good thing, because Gordon was atrocious at the dish last year. The only reason he wasn't the worst hitter on the team was because shortstop Alcides Escobar was also on his squad. Gordon is still slated to be the everyday left fielder and he will likely remain there no matter how badly he plays, since he's making $18 million per season for 2018 and 2019. However, he should not be owned in the vast majority of leagues until he proves that the adjustments worked and he wasn't simply rearranging deck chairs during a hurricane.
