7 years agoUpdating a previous report, Miami Marlins outfielder Magneuris Sierra (hamstring) was diagnosed with a tight left hamstring after leaving the Grapefruit League game early on Wednesday. While this could hurt his chances of being ready for the start of the season, Sierra wasn't expected to begin on the major league roster anyway, and he's likely ticketed for Double-A for more seasoning. The 21-year-old is a speed and contact guy, but it may be a few more years before he's contributing every day for a rebuilding Marlins club.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
