Ben Simmons Pads Triple-Double Count in Loss

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons posted a triple-double in a tough loss on Tuesday against the Pacers. Despite the counting stats, he wasn’t incredibly effective on the offensive end. His limited shooting range is well documented, but it was on display Tuesday. He shot 4-for-10 from the field for 10 points, but during crunch time and a key last-second opportunity, he was relegated to inbound duties. During a wildly successful rookie season, Simmons’ stats are that of a power forward that racks up assists.
