Redskins Re-Sign Dustin Hopkins
7 years agoThe Washington Redskins re-signed place kicker Dustin Hopkins on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 27-year-old has spent the last three years in D.C. but missed eight games last season with a hip ailment. When healthy in 2017, he made 14 of 17 field goal attempts and all but one of his 19 extra-point tries. He ranks 24th in field goal percentage over the last three seasons. Hopkins has been more of a low-end kicking option for fantasy owners, but with Washington's offense potentially suffering with quarterback Kirk Cousins leaving, he'll likely be less attractive in 2018.
